PHOTOGRAPHY
MUSIC
From Live shows with dramatic lighting to composed portraiture. The music industry is where my passion for photography began. I had been photographing anything and everything since before I could remember but Music photography is where I began to learn the craft of photography and how to adapt and work with the camera to achieve the best footage no matter what the circumstances. This is also where I took up and interest in editing my images using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. (When you’re shooting in pitch black concert halls you kind of have to!). These skills have led me to different areas of photography which I also thoroughly enjoy.
PROMOTIONAL
Working directly with clients can either make photography so much easier or so much harder. I have been fortunate to work with clients who allow and trust in my creativity. When working directly with Ascendancy fitness for the past year I ensured that all the images I produced for them were of a similar style and edited with the same colours, highlights etc. I think its important for the brand to be consistent throughout and that is so important for the visuals.
I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients including:
WEDDINGS
Weddings are something I am relatively new to after only shooting my first wedding last year but I fell in love with it. Photographing people is one of my favourite things to do and then add to that being a hopeless romantic it was only a matter of time before I fell into the wedding photography world. There is something really exciting about wedding photography as you have time to photograph the couple but also have to be aware that they want to enjoy the evening with their guests. You also can’t reshoot on another day so its important you are organised and prepared for every eventuality. In contrast to the music photography its nice to edit to a different style with much softer colours and romantic backgrounds.
